Ok, I am not part of the company, but I have paid for the registry software and have had to make modifications to it so it would work.
I know you have the VM 1.14 running. You might check with the Virtumart software abut updats and how that will affect your current store data. Once you determin if there is any upgrade issues or not - hopefully they will not be so difficult you can't upgrade - and then reinstall the gift registry software at that time.
I will say that there was a problem with the downloaded zip file and if the registry does not work, let the makers know and they will send you a corrected zip file... They are very good at that, it may take a couple of day s as they are in another country, but they are diligent.

The problem is not the vision of virtue-mart but the sequence in which it is installed,Plz check your mail inbox.

That's not the case here. Virtuemart V1.1.4 was installed for a month at least, before I ever found the Gift Registry. So following the steps below was a guarantee....
1. install virtue mart , its all modules and plug-ins
2. install gift registry
3. install gistregistry module
